April 29, 2020 —Now that fall has arrived, the Preston Building is moving forward and is looking for a roof soon! Trusses have been installed in all areas and roof decking has started. In the lower level of Area A, which is part of the building closest to the Cotter Building, MEP trades have started hanging their mechanical piping and duct. On the first level, interior and exterior framing is on-going, as well as sheathing the exterior of the building. Located at the center of the new building, the last slab of concrete is being poured. Over in Area C, which is located on the far side of the site, the last of the trusses are being buttoned up and being prepared for roof decking. The Preston building is rocking and rolling as it prepares for the roof to be installed and the fall months ahead.
