Staff at the Community Level
Barclay Friends employs a compassionate, experienced staff and maintains an environment focused on the innate worth and dignity of each person. Our leadership staff is dedicated to serving the older adults who call our community home, as well as helping staff members grow and excel in their roles.
Linda began work at Barclay Friends in July 2017 after serving as Chief Executive Officer of Martins Run in Media from 1998 until its affiliation with Wesley Enhanced Living in 2015, when she became Executive Director there. As head of that organization, Linda’s responsibilities included strategic planning, financial management, budgeting, board relations and oversight of the leadership team. Linda graduated from Penn State University with a BA in Health Planning and Administration and has a master’s degree in Public Administration from Temple University.
Chief Financial Officer
Jennie joined Barclay Friends in 2013. Her experience includes over 10 years in public accounting, specializing in audits of skilled nursing facilities, continuing care retirement communities, and not-for-profit organizations. She oversees all the financial concerns at Barclay Friends.
Director of Facility Services
Luke has over 20 years of experience in health care facilities management, including plant operations, grounds, maintenance, environmental services, and project management. Luke oversees the Maintenance and Environmental Services Departments.
Director of Dining and Nutrition Services
Robin has over thirty years of experience with the Kendal System Dining Services Program. For the last ten years, she has been an employee of Barclay Friends as the Dining Services Manager. Robin oversees the Dining Services Program for the Cotter residents and staff.
Elsa has been working in the field of geriatrics since 1994 and has nine years of experience as a certified nurse’s assistant. She brings a background in music therapy and therapeutic recreation. She also has nine years of combined experience as a music therapist and recreation director among older adults with dementia.
Human Resources Director
Cori previously served as Human Resources Generalist for Barclay Friends and manages all aspects of Human Resources for the staff. Cori holds an MSA in Human Resource Development and BA degrees in Public Relations and Psychology.
Resident Services Administrator
Mark previously worked as Interim Administrator at Christ’s Home Senior Services in Warminster, Pa and as Senior Administrator for Long Term Care for Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pa where he was responsible for the daily operations of the sub-acute unit as well as long term care and hospice operations. He previously served in various capacities for Genesis Health Care, Inc. and Genesis Rehabilitation Services, Inc. and served as the administrator for communities from 1985 through the early 90’s. He holds a BA in Business Administration and is licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator.
Social Services Director
Hannah is a Licensed Master Social Worker who has been working with the geriatric population for 10 years. She started her journey at Barclay Friends in 2015. Previously, Hannah served the geriatric population by holding various roles with the Jefferson County Area Agency on Aging and Philadelphia Corporation for Aging. Hannah is responsible for the delivery of social services, as well the role of the Grievance Officer. She has received specialized training in topics such as Dementia, Grief and Loss, and Mindfulness.
Director of Nursing
Laura joined Barclay Friends in September 2016. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and is a Registered Nurse who has served as Nursing Supervisor for skilled care, short-stay rehabilitation and secure dementia care neighborhoods, as well as a personal care area. She also brings experience with hospice and palliative care.
Lee Ann Sullivan
Development and Marketing Director
Lee Ann began work at Barclay Friends in the Development Department in 2015 and has worked in development and fundraising for more than eight years. Prior to joining Barclay Friends, she worked for a local non-profit assisting pregnant women and new moms. She is responsible for overseeing all fundraising efforts for the Caring Fund (resident assistance), the horticultural program, and other ongoing programs. The Development Department is also responsible for the coordination of the annual Golf Classic and Secret Gardens of West Chester tour.

Admissions and Sales Director
Faith worked for Kendal at Crosslands for ten years before joining Barclay Friends in 1994 as the Director of The Barclay. Faith plans and implements the marketing of Barclay Friends and is responsible for admissions.
