Policemen in Prince Albert, a city in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada practice a form of positive reinforcement involving slips of paper they have aptly named “positive tickets.”  Children who are caught in the act – of a good deed, that is – receive a ticket that can be redeemed for appealing rewards such as food and movie and sports tickets.
