Meet Kelly McCool

Barclay Friends is proud to announce that Kelly McCool has been appointed as the new Senior Director of Admissions & Marketing

Kelly McCool has been appointed the new Senior Director of Admissions & Marketing of Barclay Friends. With over 30 years of administrative experience in healthcare, Kelly is excited to continue her career at Barclay Friends.

Kelly has a wealth of experience acquired from working with a national nonprofit organization serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and behavioral health needs. She began her career locally before moving to Santa Barbara CA as Admissions Manager. In 2001, Kelly moved back home to West Chester PA where she served most recently as an Admissions and Utilization Review Manager.

Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree from Albright College in Business & Psychology and is eager to bring her skillset and expertise to Barclay Friends. With her extensive background in admissions and healthcare administration, Kelly will be an asset to the team and help continue the organization’s commitment to providing excellent care for its residents.

Commenting on her new role, Kelly says: “I am so excited for this opportunity! I am thrilled to have the opportunity to apply my skills in this new role at Barclay Friends.”

Kelly has already hit the ground running since joining Barclay Friends in May. The organization looks forward to continued growth and development under Kelly’s leadership.

Barclay Friends’ Executive Director Linda Sterthous remarked, “We are pleased to have Kelly lead our Admissions and Marketing efforts. With her extensive experience in non-profit healthcare settings, her knowledge and energy will be invaluable as we continue to attract residents to the high-quality care we provide.”

Kelly’s hire comes following the retirement of Faith Woodward after nearly 40 years of service to Barclay Friends and the Kendal system. As Faith prepares for her departure on June 5, Barclay Friends and The Kendal Corporation celebrate her dedication and long-term impact on the organization.
