Pricing Information

Deciding to move into a senior living community is a significant life step. It involves careful financial consideration. Barclay Friends understands the importance of this decision and offers guidance every step of the way. The team works closely with individuals and families to ensure a clear understanding of costs and to help determine whether Barclay Friends is a good financial fit.

Why Choose a Retirement Community?

Joining a retirement community is often a forward-looking decision — one that supports connection, wellness, and ease while planning for future needs. Unlike staying at home, a community setting offers access to a continuum of services that can adapt as needs change over time, reducing the burden of managing care or arranging support later on. For many, this consistency brings confidence and stability. Barclay Friends works closely with individuals and families to review options, discuss costs, and determine whether the community is a good financial fit for their unique circumstances.

Entrance & Community Fees

The Entrance or Community Fee is one-time charge typically collected at the time of move-in. It helps support the preparation of a residence and contributes to ongoing enhancements across the campus. This fee is separate from the Daily Rate and is part of the overall financial structure that helps maintain high-quality accommodations and shared spaces.

Daily Rate

The daily rate covers the cost of accommodations and the wide range of services and amenities available to residents each day. This includes dining, wellness offerings, maintenance, and access to shared community spaces. Rates vary based on the type of accommodation and level of service. Designed to be all-inclusive, the daily rate supports a comfortable, enriching lifestyle without the need to manage multiple monthly bills. Additional charges may apply for certain health or personal services, depending on individual needs and level of care.
