October 15, 2019 —Warfel Construction recently featured Barclay Friends in their monthly newsletter. In the June edition, they offer a look at how they’ve overcome a rainy start to the summer to keep construction on track:
“As the weather heats in Pennsylvania, so does progress at the Preston Building project! Currently, foundations, concrete retaining walls, and footings are being installed. Working through wet conditions, the Preston Building footprint is taking shape as the A section foundations continue. Through June, perimeter retaining wall construction continues, giving the campus a feel for the size of the building and future surroundings to come. As June comes to a close, keep an eye out forthcoming block construction, steel erection, and underground mechanical construction to begin shortly.
We enjoy returning to the Barclay Friends campus and are excited about the work rising from the ground. The team is truly enjoying the construction of this beautiful building as progress sweeps the campus.”
