Our 18th Annual Golf Classic will be presented by Johnson, Kendall & Johnson, Insurance Broker and Risk Management Advisor. This outing, planned and organized with the assistance of community members, will be held at: Whitford Country Club, 600 Whitford Hills Road, Exton, PA 19341.
Barclay Friends has never asked a resident to leave because he or she exhausted his or her financial means. Your support makes it possible for us to continue to make this commitment to our residents. To date, the Golf Classic has raised over $336,000.
Money raised by this year’s event will go towards Barclay Friends’ Caring Fund. This fund is available to all residents in need. About 30 percent of residents in skilled nursing care receive Medical Assistance or Medicaid, which does not fully cover the actual cost of care for these residents. Since 2016, Barclay Friends has provided health care to low-income older adults worth $4.7 million more than the reimbursement it received from Medicaid for those services.
