October 15, 2019 —Warfel Construction recently featured Barclay Friends in their monthly newsletter. In the July edition, they write about the structural features taking shape during this hot summer month:
“Despite the rain and extreme heat, the future Preston Building continues to grow! Currently, you will notice the structural retaining wall come to close and concrete pours conclude. In addition, all footing concrete pours are complete, giving this home a footprint. From an aerial view, you can see A section, closest to the Cotter building, B section and finally C section closest to the edge of the property. Currently, the project is in preparation of structural steel and concrete decking, which will take place within a few short days. As of the end of July, backfill around the building is nearly complete. Additionally, underground utilities (water mains, wastewater, electricity, etc.) are underway.”
