Secret Gardens of West Chester Tour
If you've strolled around the borough, you've no doubt been tempted to take a peek into some of the beautiful private gardens - the 'secret' gems of the borough.
In 2017, our walking tour of private gardens will be held around Barclay Friends’ own neighborhood - north of Marshall Street and East of High Street - in West Chester. The tour will include a stunning array of personal retreats tended for years.
We can help your garden look spectacular! Visit the plant sale in the upper parking lot at Barclay Friends on the day of the tour. Plants purchased have included Yarrow, Anemone, Coreopsis, Ornamental grasses and sedges, Coral Bells, Black Eyed Susans, and much more.
Sponsorship and volunteer opportunities are available. For information, please contact Lee Ann Sullivan at LSullivan@bf.kendal.org or 610/918-3433.
A special ‘thank-you’ to our presenting sponsor, Flowers and More, Inc. All proceeds from the tour and plant sale support the vibrant horticultural therapy program at Barclay Friends.
Committee members include Susan Frens, Chair; Mary Barrett; Cheryl Bjornson; Jennifer Gusz Dickerson; Lauren Earle; Elsabet Haile; Carol Hanson; Mark Hess; Sallie Jones; Mary Letzkus; Kathy Miller; Barbara McClure Moses; Amanda Reedy-Reynolds; Sharon Richardson; Lee Ann Sullivan; and Faith Woodward.
